1962 Buick Electra 225
When Robert Harutunian brought his
1963 Buick Electra 225 to Shine Speed Shop, the goal was clear: preserve its history while giving it a refreshed attitude. The team kept the car's original patina finish, highlighting its decades of character instead of burying it under new paint. To tie everything together. Harpoon custom-painted the wheels to perfectly match the weathered tones of the body, giving the Buick a cohesive, time-worn aesthetic.

Underneath, the car lowered for a sleeker stance and fitted with a fresh tires to handle the road with confidence. A Magnaflow exhaust system was installed, adding a modern rumble to the vintage cruiser. Inside, comfort was upgraded with a Vintage Air aftermarket air conditioning system, while the engine received a fresh coat of paint to bring new life to the bay without losing its vintage charm.

Jimmy even tracked down a vintage weighted bean bag ashtray for the dash, going the extra mile to capture the era's vibe---complete with a few cigarette butts tucked inside for authenticity!

The result is a uniquely personal Electra 225 that blends originality, creativity, and just the right amount of modern refinement---exactly the way Robert envisioned it.
